Study Support

The National Centre for English Language Teaching and Research (NCELTR) will provide three workshops to assist students with academic, writing and business communication skills.

• The Academic Support Workshops will be conducted on a weekly basis. They address specific academic problems such as listening and note taking, exam preparation and essay writing. Students can also raise their own study concerns with the lecturer.
  
  
• The Refining Writing Skills Workshops are designed for students in Audit Groups 1* and 1. However all students are welcome.
  
  
• The Business Communications Workshops are designed for students who are nearing the end of their Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Accounting. The emphasis is on oral communication in a business rather than an academic environment.
