Description 
 

This unit studies Australian business law in the following contexts:

•  The legal system, including sources of law and legal institutions, torts;

•  Contract law, including offer and acceptance, intention, consideration, vitiating factors, breach of contract, remedies for breach, and sale of goods;

•  Commercial law, including consumer law, Trade Practices Act, principal and agent, property, trusts, insurance law, banking law, cheques and bankruptcy.
