Postgraduate Programs
The Department of Accounting and Finance provides opportunities for both Postgraduate Research Degrees and Postgraduate Coursework Degrees. Minimum requirements are usually successful completion of an undergraduate degree.
Higher Degrees by Research lead to either Masters of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy awards and are designed to assist graduates to investigate and contribute to advanced knowledge in their chosen discipline and to develop proficiency in conducting research.
The Department of Accounting and Finance offers a coursework program that is fully accredited by CPA Australia and The Institute of Chartered Accountants. The Postgraduate Diploma/Master of Accounting course allows those who hold a bachelor degree in any discipline to earn widely recognised and respected postgraduate academic qualifications in accounting from Macquarie University, as well as achieving Australian CPA or Chartered Accountant status.
