Research Seminar Series

Jill McKinnon Research Seminar Series: 2009

The Department of Accounting and Finance conducts a regular research seminar series.

The objectives of the seminar series are: (i) to provide a forum in which academic staff and research students in the Department provide considered and constructive feedback to presenters in a collegial environment; and (ii) to expose our staff and research students to current research being conducted by colleagues both internal and external to our Department. The seminar series includes research in all areas of accounting and finance.

From 2009, the series is to be named the Jill McKinnon Research Seminar Series in memory of Associate Professor McKinnon and in recognition of her outstanding contribution to research, teaching and academic leadership in the Department over many years.

The seminar schedule for 2009 is given below. Seminars are held from 11.00am to 12.30pm on Thursdays at Venues at Macquarie, Level 3, U@MQ Building, Macquarie University, North Ryde.

Enquiries may be directed to the Seminar Convenors Professor Graeme Harrison or Associate Professor Renee Radich or to the Seminar Administrator Iris Chung.

Seminars for the past years are available at 2008 Semester 2, 2008 Semester 1, 2007 Semester 2, 2007 Semester 1, 2006 Semester 1 and 2006 Semester 2.
